This is the first guest mix for the new year 2024 on Paranoise Radio, inviting an international dj who goes by the aliases Shin Di and Raj El Rey.

Raj Shindi’s love affair with electronic music began with raving in Nairobi's then-growing scene in his teenage years. His keen ear,passion for underground sounds and his growing musical collection soon lead to him stepping behind the decks himself, further immersing himself in the underground scene under his “Raj el Rey” alias.

Over the years, he has constantly evolved as an artist, continually pushing the envelope of his sound, while playing gigs all over East Africa and Europe, as well as releasing music on labels such as Groundid Music and House Music with Love (HMWL).

Now, in a new parallel chapter under the alias of "Shin Di", he invites his audience to embark on a voyage into the meditative soundscapes of deep minimal house -where the rhythms run deeper, the melodies resonate within, and the journey becomes a sacred space for musical exploration.
