Guest Mix #342
Réka Farkas-Kovách and Máté Lakos

This podcast is the radio diary of Réka Farkas-Kovách and Máté Lakos, two artists from Budapest, Hungary. During the summer of 2026 they spent three weeks in Thessaloniki mapping the city through its sounds, recording noises and atmospheres at different locations. They also conducted interviews with locals asking them about related topics, like the sonic qualities of the city or the issue of noise pollution. The following one hour is the summary of their research edited into a continous soundscape.
The project was supported by Culture Moves Europe, a programme funded by the European Union and implemented by Goethe Institut. Tonight Saturday 10/10/26 at 9pm on Paranoise.
